TOURISM NICE - MUST-VISITS

Hôtel Brice Garden - Nice

Vieux-Nice

Soak up the unique atmosphere of Nice old town bursting with history, pretty places and fabulous food. The world-famous flower market is on Place Centrale on Cours Saleya surrounded by countless bar and restaurant terraces. Stroll the pretty, colourful and ever-bustling Vieux-Nice lanes by day or night. It's a hive of life. What better place to sample Nice specialities, unearth a souvenir in one of the many little shops, visit churches, basilicas and more?

Promenade des Anglais

The biggest attraction in Nice is undoubtedly the Promenade des Anglais.  An unforgettable 7km road running from Port Lympia near the famous I LOVE NICE sign to the airport. Walk, rollerskate or cycle between the Mediterranean Sea and pebble beaches and luxury hotels and Belle Époque buildings. There's nowhere else like it in the world. Settle into a blue chair or relax on a lounger, feast your eyes and have fun counting the planes coming in to land on the airport runway.

Castle Hill

Castle Hill has the best views of the entire Baie des Anges, port and Mediterranean Sea. Tackle the stairs (500 steps) or hit the lift for fabulous views. There's a lovely waterfall and park to visit.

Place Masséna

Place Masséna is a must-visit: it's where the locals get together and is the beating heart of Nice. The black and white checkerboard square at Place Masséna hosts countless events all year round such as the Christmas market, Nice Jazz Festival and Nice Carnival. Place Masséna is surrounded by red buildings, a tram line cuts through it and the Fontaine du Soleil reigns in the middle with a beautiful Apollo. It's the start point to reach all the city's landmarks: Vieux-Nice, Promenade des Anglais, pedestrian area, Carré d’Or, Avenue Jean Médecin, greenway etc.
